  The atmosphere is fantastic, the owner/server were kind, the pasta was perfect...but the veal was kinda horrifyingly bad. The Groupon coming with salad (tho Caesar is a weird Italian option), appetizer, pasta, meat and wine/dessert (tiramisu was frozen) is amazing value, but the lack of menu on Groupon and in the restaurant made it really confusing what we were ordering. The bread not being cut is also a bit odd.
  
  Expected consistent quality from an Italian restaurant with this grand of an exterior/interior in the heart of little italy, but they need to step up their food game. Wish we saw reviews before coming. Worth it for Groupon, but to ask "groupon?" after we entered feels like they gave up.

  Reasonable prices, attentive but amateur service. Mediocre food in a decent ambience.
  
  Antipasto plate had good ingredients but was put together like I do snack plates with the last of whatever is in my fridge. Much of the meal tasted of Loblaws do-it-myself.
  
  Watery rounds of polenta sausage diluted a bland cream sauce topped with eggplant and a slice of smoked salmon.
  
  Pizza crust was undercooked. Pesto sauce was bitter (I think it was off too) and the chicken dry.
  My friend's tiny bite of chocolate cake arrived and was done long before my specialty coffee arrived... cold and disappointing.

  After reading bad reviews, I was afraid to visit, but out of curiosity, I went as a Groupon customer. The lady who's the owner and who also served us was so attentive and amazing. She was definitely a great server. A few things though:
  -I feel bad saying this, but the food was really low in quality. It reminded me of the quick meals we made at the student dormitory when we were 18.
  -Inside the restaurant is nice, but unfortunately the loud Italian TV and the lack of any music makes it unpleasant.

  The service here was horrible.. had to wait 1 full hour for a simple salad.. had to ask for water multiple times.
  Had to ask for bread for the table and the waiter acts surprised and confused as if i was asking for something extraordinary.
  Never coming back!

  I have NEVER in my life had such a terrible experience at a restaurant anywhere in the world.
  Today has left me and my friends utterly speechless from the moment we were greeted by the owner until the very last moment when we were threatened with police and our drinks were taken off the table after we wanted to settle the bill and leave this restaurant.
  
  I think we are still in shock and can't even find the right words to describe our experience today.
  
  The owner refused to seat us and many people as the game was starting saying all the tables were reserved but no one was there. I kindly approached her husband and he said go ahead and sit down.
  
  Minutes later his wife started yelling at him as to why we even had to ask him for a table since she clearly said NO. After a brief argument and several dirty looks our way later, we waited for at least 30 minutes just for water.
  
  What was meant to be a great and easy day watching the World Cup game turned into a complete and crazy nightmare not only for us but several customers throughout the restaurant that were getting up and leaving after getting yelled at by the owner (blond lady) can't miss her "welcoming face". A total disaster. She even went as far as saying she will pull the plug from the TV as we were watching the soccer game.
  
  Her staff were constantly getting yelled at in front of everyone and verbally abused to the point where everyone was so uncomfortable, so unkind and extremely rude.  
  
  Her husband came over at the end just to say that his bad yelp reviews are fake and don't matter to him anyway....WOW.
  
  I could go on another two pages as to why this restaurant should not be in business, but I'm going to stop here tonight and warn everyone to stay FAR away from this wack job unprofessional lady and her so called restaurant.  Unless you enjoy being verbally abused, ripped off and possibly sick from the food that they serve. (Frozen garbage).
  
  SHAME. Plenty of wonderful restaurants in Toronto with wonderful service and great food.
  
  Stay away.
